NEW FACEBOOK FAN PAGE DESIGN

Facebook is changing the design and layout of the Facebook Fan Page and there’s some PROs and some CONs.

LIKES:

• Huge Timeline Banner for Business Advertising and Branding
• Sweet Timeline Layout that Allows for Better Customer Browsing
• More Prominent “About” Section
• “Highlight” Ability that Allows for Driving More Awareness to Certain Posts
• Great Analytics and Admin Panel

DISLIKES:

• Landing Welcome Page / Reveal Tab Seems to Be No Longer Allowed At This Point
• Only 4 Available Slots for Unhidden Apps on Your Fan Page
• Additional Apps are Hidden Until a Dropdown is Clicked
• Users Must Click on Your “Welcome” App Tab in Order to See Your Landing Page

Overall, pretty awesome! Just a few things that I’d like to change and hopefully Facebook will get those worked out.
