Here’s what you’ll learn in this easy 2-Step Process:

  • Twitter analysis tips and tricks that will help you more effectively promote yourself and your content on Twitter
  • What free tools you can utilize to see if you’re tweeting at the times when you KNOW that your followers are most likely to view your tweets.
  • Free websites that show you full graphical analytics reports that break down your entire Twitter activity

Here’s what you’ll need:
  • Tweriod
  • TweetStats
  • Your Twitter Handle
  • And a tissue (because you’re going to cry happy little tears when you find out how easy this is)

STEP 1: Tweriod.com

Tweriod Overview

Tweriod is a free website that you can enter your Twitter Handle (for example @DJ_Caldwell) into their search bar and they will process a in-depth report that searches through your last 5,000 followers and, based on your time zone, tells you when your followers are on Twitter!

You are then able to sort the data based on Weekends, Sundays, Mondays, Weekdays and Combined. Tweriod will then graph at what times of the indicated period your followers are engaged with Twitter.

This means that you now know exactly when to Tweet your content so that it will have the greatest opportunity to be read by your followers or potential followers!

Tweriod Hourly Graph

You are also able to see at what times your followers @reply to your tweets based on those same sortable times.

This is incredibly valuable information because @replies are great for helping your tweeted content and Twitter profile to spread virally throughout the Twittershpere!

STEP 2: TweetStats.com

TweetStats Overview

Just like Tweriod, TweetStats is a free service website that you type your Twitter Handle into their search field and TweetStats will spit you out a full graphical analytics reports that breaks down your entire Twitter activity. Yeah, it’s pretty awesome!

So you can see from my TweetStat report (above) that I really started utilizing my @DJ_Caldwell Twitter account around January 2011, I mostly post during late morning to late afternoon, and that in April 2011 I obviously had nothing better to do than tweet my life away every day of that month… Don’t worry, I got counseling and have now been Spaz-Tweet free for over 9 months now. :D

This is so awesome because you can compare your Twitter activity with the data collected from Tweriod and see if you are posting at the times when your Twitter following is most likely to view and interact with your posted content!

TweetStats Graphical Analytics

You are also able to view your entire Twitter content Tweet Cloud. See what you talk about most, who you @reply to or @retweet the most, and what you could talk more about.

Plus you can post and tweet this cool lookin’ Tweet Cloud to show your followers and fans what you are all about!
