Have you ever really, really wanted to work for a particular company before? You would do almost anything to get an interview?
Well Zappos was (and still is) that company for me. So one day I was talking to the recruiters on Linkedin.com and I asked this question, “How did you end up working at Zappos?”
Well I received response after response, and they were all very interesting stories and experiences. Then a thought came to me, “what if I compiled all of their responses into a book that I could then send to each of the responders.”
So I began compiling their stories, snagging their pictures and designing the book that is now Finding Happiness! It was all in secret of course, because I wanted them to get the book by surprise. So once they were printed, I put them in care packages that I then sent over to Zappos!
It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed putting this book together. Thank you Zappos team and Lulu.com for making this project possible.
